Lenovo T420S Mikrofon Problem

Hi,

ich habe in der Firma mein Lenovo T510 gegen ein T420S getauscht.

Dabei hatte ich das Problem, dass ich das intne Mikrofon nicht nutzen konnte, es wurde beim Emfpänger einers Lync Anrufs einfach keine Stimme gehört.

Das Problem habe ich so behoben:

als erstes den neusten Treiber (http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS014918#version) installieren.

Dann aber noch folgendes machen:

Die Pegelverstärkung raus nehmen:

Und die Signalverbesserung deaktivieren!

Optiarc DVD RW AD-7561s Treiber Status Code 10

Hi,

ein HP Compaq 6730s einer Freundin konnte keine DVDs mehr abspielen und im Gerätemanager wurde das Laufwerk, ein „Optiarc DVD RW AD-7561s“ immer mit einer Warnung und dem Treiber Status Code 10 angezeigt.

Das Deinstallieren und Neuinstallieren des Treibers hatte keinen Erfolg.

Daraufhin habe ich mal bei Bing gesucht und sofort die passende Lösung im Microsoft Forum gefunden!

To resolve this problem, remove the affected filter drivers. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then click regedit in the Programs list.If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation , type your password, or click Continue.
2. Locate, and then click the following registry subkey:
   HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

   Caution There can be many instances of the registry subkey that is mentioned in step 2. You must make sure that you are in the appropriate registry subkey before modifying the UpperFilters and the LowerFilters values. To verify that you are in the appropriate registry subkey, make sure that the Default data value is DVD/CD-ROM and the Class data value is CDROM.

3. In the right pane, right-click UpperFilters, and then click Delete.
4. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the UpperFilters registry entry.
5. In the right pane, right-click LowerFilters, and then click Delete.
6. Click Yes to confirm the removal of the LowerFilters registry entry.
7. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

Windows 7: Lenovo Fingerprints, Authentec Fingerprint Reader und Domain Accounts

Hi,

wir hatten gerade das Problem auf einem frisch installiertem ThinkPad T500 mit Windows 7, dass der Authentec Fingerprint Reader mit dem Lenovo/ThinkVantage Fingerprints nciht genutzt werden konnte.

Es wurde immer der Fehler augegeben, dass kein Fingerprint Reader angeschlossen wäre.
Lösung: Deinstallation der Lenovo/ThinkVantage Fingerprints, denn über Microsoft Update hat der Rechner selbst den Treiber für den Authentec Fingerprint Reader und die TrueSuite installiert.

Jetzt konnte der lokale Benutzer über die in der Systemsteuerung Menüpunkte des Windows Biometric Framework, seine Fingerabdrücke einlesen und hinterlegen. Wenn der Nutzer dies aber mit einem Domain Account machte funktionierte das nicht, weil es nicht zugelassen wäre.

Lösung: „For the benefit of others researching this issue: Domain login be fingerprint must be specifically enabled. Go to Control Panel > Biometric Devices > Change biometric settings and checkmark the „Allow users to log on to a domain using their fingerprints“ (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/w7itpronetworking/thread/13b153f9-b8c2-45fc-82ef-02b44e8ecdeb).
